First person combat game in an aerospace compound
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate is a new chapter in the F.E.A.R. trilogy which offers all the original thrills of the first game but brings a new scenario and new missions to complete. Possibly the major difference you'll notice however is that this chapter is considerably quicker than the original.
Like in the original game, in F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate you use a range of specialised arms and a few added physical extensions that enable to dodge enemy bullets and hunt the haunted spirits which follow you throughout the game. In fact, this is a genuinely haunting game and lives up to the F.E.A.R. tag. The game employs what the developers call "rag-doll" graphics meaning that when you shoot someone, the physical reactions are incredibly realistic.
Add this to the arsenal of weapons you can choose from such as particle beam weapons and laser guns, you'll have fun simply blowing the hell out of people. Be warned though that the difficulty level is very high on this chapter and you'll do well to even pass the first stage on your first few games.
A great first person combat game that will have you hooked and haunted for hours.
